All students enrolled in AED6205 study two arts subjects, Music and Visual Arts. Each subject is delivered in a separate 5-week module of work. The order in which each module is studied is detailed in the comments section for each class on the ECU timetable. ************************************ Information about on-campus study in AED6205: Given the practical nature of learning in Music and Visual Arts, students who live near ECU Joondalup or ECU Mount Lawley are encouraged to study on-campus. The expectation is that all students will attend their weekly 3-hour seminar for the duration of the semester. Seminars will take place in the music and visual arts studios. ************************************ Information about off-campus study in AED6205: For off-campus students, the learning activities for each module are distinct, and are designed to best reflect practical and authentic study of music and visual arts in an online setting. The Music Module will be delivered to off-campus students via live, synchronous online seminars. The expectation is that all students will attend the weekly online seminars for the duration of the 5-week Music Module. Please ensure that your computer has a microphone and camera so that you can fully engage in the learning experiences. The Visual Arts Module is delivered asynchronously, meaning learning activities can be completed at any time during the scheduled teaching week. Academic staff will monitor online work and provide feedback via the Learning Management System, Canvas. Please note that off-campus students may need to source some consumable items to support their engagement in the Visual Arts Module. Materials and household items required will be detailed at the start of each semester. ************************************ Should you have any questions, please contact the Unit Coordinator, Jason Boron via email at j.boron@ecu.edu.au.
